The 25 Years Story

Once upon a time, there was a 11 years old girl, madly in love with a 15 years old boy. She looked up to him since she was 5, watching him play guitar and sing. His unique deep blue eyes charmed her every time he looked at her and she always wanted to be in his presence. She was already aware and quietly watched him with his girlfriends, wishing that it's her who's holding his hand. At age 15, she was not too young for the 19 years old young man anymore. He finally noticed that she likes him (or did he know all the time?) and started getting to know her differently. They tried to be together for many, many times, but as it is, when she was taken, he was alone and when she was alone, he was taken. They never met being both single, yet they felt the same way about each other.

After that, they held hands under the table once a year, talking about being brave and being together, but she was scared, even though he was willing to leave his girlfriend for her. At age 25, she was finally free again and tried one last time to tell him her feelings and how stupid she was, being with someone else for that long and all she could think of every day was the one she told no to. She knew that it's probably pointless, but she was so used to believe her whole life.. that, one day, they will be together. As you may suspect, this time he said no to her. But she had to try. Their paths then parted and they didn't talk to each other for 5 years. She's quietly watching him grow old now and doesn't know who he is anymore, as he doesn't know her anymore as well. They both know that for some reason they were never meant to be, even though they almost made it.

And the 11 years old girl and the 15 years old boy? They lived their story happily ever after in different universe, where they grew old together.
